Madison police say a 25 year old man suffered a minor injury from a blow to the head while he was sleeping early Friday morning. Cops were called to the north-side apartment on Brentwood Parkway shortly after midnight.
Police say the victim wasn't hit by gunfire, but multiple callers reported hearing at least two shots at that time, and officers found shell casings at the scene.
They're still investigating and no one is in custody.
