MADISON (WKOW) -- It's a guilty verdict against the man accused of killing a two-year-old Madison girl.
Joshua Gehde was convicted of first degree reckless homicide after a Dane County jury deliberated for 5 hours Thursday.
Authorities say Gehde had been caring for his girlfriend's daughter in April of 2016. Investigators say she was abused and she ended up in the hospital with head injuries. The girl died days later.
Gehde is expected to be sentenced in a couple of months.
