Madison police called to basketball game at La Follette High School

Madison Police say no arrests were made in the incident Friday night at La Follette High School in Madison. 

An entry in Chief Koval's blog Saturday says special duty officers working the basketball game and asked for extra resources a little before 8:30 p.m. for several fights that broke out.  

Officers were able to get the situation under control within a half hour or so. 

At one point, 12 units were assigned to keep the peace.

It's not known what caused the fight or how many people were involved. 

The game was at La Follette versus rival school East (Madison). 

La Follette High School is at 702 Pflaum Road in Madison.
