Authorities in Sauk County say alcohol and speed were factors in a crash on Friday that killed a sophomore from Middleton High School. District officials identify the student as 15 year old Brittany Buszinski. Buszinski died at the hospital while another 13 year old passenger received serious, but non life-threatening injuries. The driver, 20 year old Puneet Sharma of Madison, is jailed on pending charges. Police say Sharma was driving on Highway 12 at a high rate of speed, went airborne and struck several trees.
