Details 

Madison Officers responded to the 2500 block of Coolidge Street for a report of shots fired and multiple motor vehicles involved in an accident.  Upon arrival, officers located two injured persons on-scene, who were transported to a local hospital for treatment.  A short time later, another injured person showed up at separate area hospital. This injured person is being treated for injuries that related to the accident investigation on Coolidge Street. Officers believe the shots fired event and the resulting accident are connected. Three vehicles and a house were damaged as a result of the accident. As well, an occupied house in the area was struck by gun-fire, but no one was injured.  

The investigation is currently on-going, and is being handled by the Madison Police Department Violent Crime Unit.
