House Speaker Paul Ryan is getting slammed on social media for a tweet he made about the benefits of the tax bill to the middle class. Ryan retweeted a media report on salaries following passage of the bill and added a story about a secretary from Pennsylvania who was pleased with her dollar-fifty a week raise that would cover her Costco membership. Ryan removed the tweet, but not before his Democratic challenger Randy Bryce tweeted that Ryan was out of touch and urged supporters to send him a dollar-fifty to help oust the Speaker.
