Police say one woman was taken to the hospital and a man is in custody after a shooting in DeForest Friday night.
This happened in the 700 block of Park Avenue, according to a post on the DeForest Police Department's Facebook page. Officers say the woman was shot and was taken to a local hospital. They did not comment on the severity of her injury.
Police say there is no danger to the public.
The Dane County Sheriff's Office was on scene helping officers from DeForest.
