Two people are dead following a crash last Friday near Cross Plains. The driver of one of the vehicles involved, 58 year old Daniel Zander, was pronounced dead at the hospital following the accident. His passenger and mother, 92 Loretta Zander, died of her injuries the next day.
Both Zanders were from Cross Plains.
The driver and a passenger in the other car received non life-threatening injuries.
Authorities say Daniel Zander's vehicle crossed the centerline of Highway P and collided with the other vehicle. Someone had called 9-1-1 prior to the accident report that Zander's car was "all over the road. "
