Campaign targets underage drinking

Governor Walker has proclaimed April Underage Alcohol Use and Abuse Awareness Month. Research shows kids who learn the dangers of underage drinking from their parents are up to 50 percent less likely to experiment with alcohol than kids who don’t. This month also marks the beginning of the annual Parents Who Host, Lose the Most campaign. This year, 42 groups statewide are reaching out to parents to alert them of the risks of serving alcohol to teens. The campaign runs through June.
