MADISON (WKOW) -- A Dane County man is behind bars after being involved in a fatal crash in downtown Madison early Saturday morning, according to the Madison Police Department.
Authorities are recommending Gavin Veium, 22, be charged with homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle and second degree reckless homicide.
Diano McCullough, 45, of Madison was killed as a result of the injuries sustained in the crash on John Nolen Drive Saturday morning.
Police say when officers arrived to the scene they saw two vehicles engulfed in flames.
