FITCHBURG (WKOW) -- A man was shot multiple times in Fitchburg Thursday night, but he is expected to survive.
Police say the shooting happened shortly before 10 p.m. on Post Road. Officers found the victim when they got there. Police say a white SUV was seen leaving the scene, but they don't have a suspect description right now.
About 10 minutes later, police say officers were called to Leopold Way for a report of a shooting. Officers say an apartment had been shot multiple times. People were inside at the time, but no one was hurt. A man in black clothes was seen running away.
Police don't know if the two shootings are related or not, but they do not appear to be random.
