UPDATE (WKOW) -- Authorities say one person is dead and two others were hurt in a crash that shut down a highway in Dane County Sunday morning.
Dane County sheriff's officials say a pickup truck was hit head on by a car on Highway PB near Highway A in the town of Montrose around 9:45 a.m. The 18-year-old man driving the car died at the site of the crash. A 58-year-old man driving the pickup and his passenger were taken to a hospital but they are expected to be alright.
PB was closed for hours while investigators were at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
