MADISON (WKOW) -- Although Epic Systems has acquired many of the iconic artifacts from the now-closed Ella's Deli on East Washington Avenue, there still are many items left.
From decorations to kitchen equipment, Badger Auction will be auctioning off the remaining items today beginning at 10:30 a.m. The preview opens at 9 a.m.
The major attraction up for auction is a very unique piece of the property's history -- the mini carousel.
The 1930’s – 1940’s Herschel/Spillman Carousel Little Beauty carousel has been in storage for years.
This carousel is a 20 horse and 2 chariot piece. 15 original aluminum horses and 5 non original molded horses.
The carousel is in excellent and working condition. All components are complete. Includes 12 rounding boards, 12 shields, 12 floor sections, all original interior scenery panels, original cloth night security surround cover, original cloth canopy top. Motor has a soft start cloth for speed control. Wiring and fuse box panel included, according to Badger Auction.
