Video Shows People Hiding After Man Opens Fire In Las Vegas Mall

People were forced to find shelter after bullets started flying when a disgruntled security guard opened fire after arguing with a manager at Blue Diamond Crossing shopping center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Witnesses said the security guard and manager got into a heated exchanged before the guard stormed off. A short time later, he returned to the store and "began to shoot towards the manager, with zero regard to the shoppers inside the store," police said in a statement.

When confronted by police outside of the mall, he started shooting at them. They returned fired and struck the man once. He was taken to the hospital and underwent surgery.

Dramatic video captured inside of the mall showed people hiding underneath racks of clothing while alarms were going off in the background. Officers eventually arrived and started directing customers out of the mall with their hands in the air.

Police said that only the gunman was injured during the incident.
