Flooding closes roads in Marshall and town of Medina

MARSHALL (WKOW) -- The Marshall Fire Department says heavy flooding is affecting the area.

Box Elder Road in the town of Medina from Highway 19 to Missouri Road is closed because of water on the roadway. The fire department is asking people to avoid the area.

They're also asking for volunteers to help fill sandbags. You should head to the town of Medina garage on Highway 19 across from Little Amerricka.

The fire department says Berlin Road near Deansville is closed and Cherry Lane Bridge is closed near Canal Road. People will need to access Maple Heights from Highway 19.
