Major street flooding, water on state highways across the area

- Weather reports are coming in from all over southeastern Wisconsin describing emergency situations involving water on highways, city streets and farm land.

Officials say some of the trouble spots around Madison Monday night have included:7:25 p.m. US 151/US 18 at Beat Road is closed due to flooding. North and south lanes impacted, drivers should avoid the area.

6:53 p.m. US 12 both eastbound and westbound, near Greenway Boulevard -- all lanes affected by flooding.  Reports of damage in the area.

6:26 p.m. Gammon Rd and the off ramps from US 12/14 are being affected by flooding.  All northbound and southbound lanes affected.

6:00 p.m. WIS 113 (Johnson Street) near Tenney Park - all lanes were flooded but now are cleared.

On and off showers and storms are expected to continue through Monday night.  One to three inches  of rain will come with up to four inches in local hotspots -- so flooding is a concern.
