22-year-old man shot on W. Mifflin St. in Madison

Police say the victim in Friday night's shooting on W. Mifflin Street was shot in the leg.

They say he is a 22-year-old man, but they have not released his name.

Madison Fire Rescue took the victim to the hospital.

The Madison Police Department says a black, 4-door vehicle was seen driving away from the shooting, but no further suspect information is available.

Police are in the process of interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence.


MADISON (WKOW) -- Police say one person was shot Friday night in Madison.

Officers tell 27 News the shooting happened just before 10 p.m. in the 300 block of W. Mifflin Street.

Police say one person was taken to the hospital. At this point, there's no word on the shooting victim's condition.
