American Airlines adds a new Madison to Phoenix non-stop flight

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Dane County Regional Airport (MSN) announced Tuesday that American Airlines will be adding new service from Madison to Phoenix, Ariz. (PHX) beginning January 6, 2019.

“American Airlines partnership to bring new non-stop options to our airport is a testament to our vibrant community and growing economy,” said Dane County Executive Joe Parisi. 

Travelers from Madison will have daily non-stop flights to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX).

Flights will be flown on a CRJ-900 regional, two-class aircraft, featuring an enhanced cabin experience with large over-head bins, more leg room, and on-board Wifi connectivity, according to the press release from Interim Dane County Airport Director, Kim Jones.

“Phoenix is a top destination market for Madison,” said Jones.  “We are extremely pleased that American has decided to add this important route to their network.”

Tickets are available for sale now.

Arriving in Phoenix, passengers can connect to more than 40 domestic and international destinations.

The Dane County Regional Airport provides seamless, low-stress, and affordable options for both leisure and business travelers with more than 110 daily arrivals and departures, according to the press release.

Non-stop service to 18 cities provides access to nearly every worldwide destination.
