More than 100 teenagers start fights, threaten officers

A high school football game got rowdy Friday night.

Madison police say officers were called to Mansfield Stadium on Mineral Point Road around 11 p.m. on September 14. Several fights were going on in the parking lot and a number of teenagers were heading towards other lots on Odana Road.

More than 100 teenagers were screaming and yelling at each other, according to police. Some of them were yelling out gang names and making threats to officers.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested for disorderly conduct after he was seen punching a girl. While he was being detained, police say a crowd gathered around the arresting officers screaming swears and threatening them.
