Legislature to return after November Election to vote on Kimberly-Clark

Gov. Scott Walker and Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald announced an extraordinary session Tuesday to vote on a bill that would provide tax breaks designed to keep open a Kimberly-Clark plant in Fox Crossing.

About 500 people work at the plant in Fox Crossing.

Kimberly-Clark imposed a Sept 30 deadline to reach a deal. The Assembly did pass the measure earlier in the year, but there reportedly aren't votes in the Senate to pass it.

The extraordinary session is to start Nov 12
