Middleton Police to host free active shooter preparedness course

Middleton Police will offer free training on how to respond during an active shooter situation.

An announcement from the department cited the recent workplace shooting in Middleton on Sept. 19, as a reason people should learn how to respond during an active shooter situation.

The training session will include presentations from Middleton Police, Dane County Deputies, and the Wisconsin Department of Justice.

Registration is available on the Middleton Police Department’s website.
