The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide in the town of Lebanon.
One person is in custody, according to a sheriff’s office news release.
Dispatchers received a report about 6:15 p.m. Wednesday of a death that at N901 Redwing Road in the town of Lebanon.
Deputies discovered the body of a man at the scene and are working on a positive identification of the victim.
Authorities are calling it a homicide.
The sheriff’s office has one person in custody on unrelated charges as the investigation continues, according to the news release.
Authorities are not releasing additional information pending identification and notification of the family.
Sheriff’s office staff worked through the night into this morning investigating the incident and believe there is no threat to the public.
