REEDSBURG (WKOW) — A Reedsburg man was arrested Monday night after police allege he killed a 4-month-old kitten by throwing it against a wall.
Kyle J. Wise, 33, faces charges of mistreating and animal causing death, which is a class 1 felony. He also faces a disorderly conduct charge.

Police were called about 9:45 p.m. Monday to the 1700 block of Cottontail Lane for a report of an intoxicated male who had just killed a kitten.
A witness told police that Wise grabbed a kitten from his lap and threw it against the wall in the garage, killing it.
Apparently, Wise had been sitting in the garage drinking and appeared intoxicated.
Wise was arrested and taken to the Sauk County Jail.
