Three races that have raised Wisconsin’s national profile

(WKOW) — Three Wisconsin races are among the high-profile contests on the national stage as voters prepare to head to the polls for Tuesday’s mid-term election.

Taking top billing is the race for governor that pits incumbent Republican and former presidential candidate Scott Walker against longtime Wisconsin school superintendent and Democrat Tony Evers.

In the U.S. Senate, Republican Leah Vukmir is hoping to flip the seat held by incumbent Democrat Tammy Baldwin.

In Congress, Democrat Randy Bryce is hoping to take the place of retiring Speaker of the House Paul Ryan in a race against Republican Bryan Steil.
