Senate Passes Lame-Duck Bill 17-16

(Madison, WI)  --  The State Senate has officially passed the lame-duck bill limiting the power of incoming governor Tony Evers.  The Wisconsin State Journal reports the senate met early this morning and voted 17-to-16 to pass the amendment with all Democrats and only one Republican opposing it.  It will now go to the State Assembly where it is likely to pass with a GOP majority.  Then, it will go to approval by outgoing Governor Scott Walker.
