Walker to take action on lame-duck bills Friday afternoon

Governor Walker is holding an event at noon at a Green Bay state office building Friday to take action on a sweeping package of GOP backed bills.

The measures would weaken the powers of the incoming governor and attorney general, and would also restrict early voting.

Walker has signaled support for the legislation, despite an outpouring of criticism on both sides of the political aisle.

Walker has also said he intends to make some partial vetoes. No specifics have been given.
