Madison police investigate armed robbery on north side

MADISON (WKOW) — Madison police are looking for two suspects who robbed someone at gunpoint on the city’s north side early Wednesday morning.

Police say around midnight, officers responded to the area of Browning Road and Dryden Drive for a report of an armed robbery. They say a 36-year-old man told officers that he had left a relative’s home to walk to a nearby gas station when was approached by two teenagers who pointed a gun to his head. The victim says the teens demanded money, according to police.

Police say the suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from the victim and ran away. The victim was not hurt.

According to police, the two suspects are described as African American men between 5’08” and 5’10” tall, about 18 years old. Both suspects were described as wearing dark clothing, according to police.
