An Obama official will be the head of the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
Governor-elect Tony Evers has named Andrea Palm as secretary of the department that oversees Wisconsin's Medicaid and other public benefits programs.
Palm served as senior counselor to the secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services under President Barack Obama from 2014 until 2017.
Evers will be sworn into office on Monday.
