Murdered woman’s family sues store where she worked

The family of a woman murdered nearly three years ago has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the grocery store where she worked.

Caroline Nosal was shot to death February 2, 2016. Her former co-worker, Christopher O’Kroley was convicted of killing her as she walked to her car outside the store.

According to Madison.com the lawsuit filed Wednesday, alleges the store and its owners did not warn Nosal about the risks O’Kroley posed, including his predatory behavior. The suit also alleges the store failed to intervene after management learned of his behavior toward other female employees.

O’Kroley killed himself in his prison cell May 1, 2017.
