Reedsburg woman arrested twice for OWI within hours

REEDSBURG (WKOW) — A Reedsburg woman was arrested twice for OWI within hours late Wednesday night.

According to Reedsburg police, 27-year-old Myranda L. Batzler, of Reedsburg, was arrested for OWI at 7:50 p.m. after driving left of center in the area of Pine Street and East Main Street.

Police say Batlzer was processed and released for 1st Offense OWI and turned over to a sober, adult driver at about 10:00 pm.

Then around midnight, police say an officer saw the same vehicle driving the wrong way on South Walnut Street from Vine Street. The officer stopped the vehicle and arrested Batlzer for OWI a second time. Batlzer was processed and released again to a sober adult.

Both cases are scheduled to appear before the Reedsburg Municipal Court in March, according to police.
