Snow emergencies declared in area communities

BELOIT: From 10 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2019, to 10 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2019 vehicles are prohibited from parking or standing on city streets during a snow emergency, according to Beloit city ordinance. Residents are reminded to move their vehicles from the streets to a driveway or an approved off-site parking lot. A map of designated snow emergency areas is available on the city’s website, www.beloitwi.gov .

CLINTON: From 11 p.m. Monday Feb. 11, 2019 Through 8 a.m. Wednesday Feb. 13, 2019. No parking is allowed on village streets during this snow removal emergency. Twenty-four hour parking is available in the municipal parking lot in the 200 block of Mill Street. Vehicles must be moved after 24 hours in the municipal parking Lot.

MADISON: The City of Madison has declared a snow emergency from 6 a.m. Tuesday until 6 a.m. Thursday. Details and parking options HERE .

VILLAGE OF MARSHALL: Beginning at 10 p.m. today, Monday, Feb. 11, 2019. The snow emergency will run for 48 hours. When a snow emergency has been declared, no street parking is allowed during the 48 hour

declaration or until it has been cancelled.

TOWN OF MIDDLETON: From Monday, Feb. 11, 2019, beginning at 7 p.m. and ending on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019, at 7 a.m. A snow emergency means that all vehicles must be moved off the street and there is no street parking for the duration of the snow emergency.

PARDEEVILLE: Beginning at 9 p.m. on Monday and continuing until 12 p.m. on Wednesday. There is no parking on any village street when snow amounts reach three inches. Vehicles left on the streets can be ticketed or towed. Alternate-side parking will be suspended during the emergency.

PORTAGE: Beginning at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 12, parking is prohibited on all singed snow routes and all other streets except the central business district. In the central business district, parking is prohibited from 3 a.m. Tuesday to 7 a.m. Wednesday. Vehicles will be towed.

STOUGHTON: From midnight to 8 a.m. and remains in effect until three consecutive midnight to 8 a.m. periods have elapsed, or the emergency is cancelled or extended. Parking will be even/odd.

SUN PRAIRIE: Beginning at 12:01 a.m. (midnight), on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2019 and continuing until 4 p.m., on Wed., February 13, 2019. There is no parking on any city street until 4 p.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019 or until the snow emergency has been canceled. Vehicles parked on the street in violation of this ordinance can be ticketed ($50 fine) and may be towed.
