MADISON (WKOW) – Saturday looks like a fairly quiet day with highs in the middle to upper 20s and mostly cloudy skies. A few glares at the sun, but more clouds than sun will be the story for most of us.
Saturday night is when the very cold air moves in with an arctic high from Canada. This will make Sunday very cold with highs in the low teens and mostly sunny skies.
The coldest air moves in Sunday night with record lows possible. The record low on Monday morning is -9 and our forecast is -11. Bundle up!
A few flurries will be possible Tuesday morning then becoming partly sunny with highs back in the teens. Temperatures will try to slowly, warm back up, but our next snow-maker starts to move in near the end of the week next week.
