Woman charged with helping accused killer Dariaz Higgins

According to WISN, Milwaukee County prosecutors have charged a Milwaukee woman accused of helping Dariaz Higgins, the man accused of killing Sierra Robinson.

Deloise Lipsey is charged with harboring/aiding a felon.

On March 16, Milwaukee police detectives interviewed Lipsey, who told investigators she lives in both Milwaukee and Las Vegas, and while in Las Vegas on March 6, she got a phone call from “DL” (Dariaz Higgins), and he told her to fly to Minnesota to meet him.

She told detectives she arrived in Minneapolis on Friday, March 8, and he picked her up at the airport, along with another person. She said the three of them drove for about 1½ hours to a city she had never been to before, a place she later learned was Austin, Minnesota.

She stayed at a Rodeway Inn and said she didn’t hear from Higgins all day Saturday. She told police he eventually returned around 3 a.m. Sunday, when he told her they were going to change motels and leave town.
