No charges expected in 2016 murder

No charges are expected to be filed in the 2016 shooting death of the first victim in a series of homicides in Madison. Police and prosecutors say the man who allegedly shot Martez Moore outside a restaurant could have been acting in self defense. DNA recovered from the scene linked the crime to an Illinois man, but police say they don't have enough evidence to actually charge him with homicide. In the weeks following Moore's death, a few other men were shot to death in Madison. Investigators say there's still a looming cloud of uncertainty in regards to who's responsible for those crimes.
