Dodge Co. district attorney to oversee Columbia Co. office

Until Columbia County’s vacant district attorney position is filled, Dodge County’s district attorney will serve as “special prosecutor in charge.”

“Until this vacancy is filled, Dodge County District Attorney Kurt Klomberg will serve as special prosecutor in charge of the Columbia County District Attorney’s Office,” the Columbia County DA’s office said in a statement Wednesday. “The Wisconsin Department of Justice will also provide resources and assistance.”

“The district attorney’s office is open, court cases are moving, and the criminal justice system in Columbia County is fully operating,” said Presiding Judge W. Andrew Voigt.
