24-year-old West Allis man claims $768 million lottery prize

Manuel Franco says he felt so lucky the day he bought his lottery ticket that he thought about winking at the security camera when he walked out of the store.

It turns out Franco had every reason to feel lucky, and today he claimed the $768 million Powerball prize.

Franco, 24, of West Allis, was introduced to the media during a news conference Tuesday at the Wisconsin lottery.

Franco says he’ll take his time to plan wisely for his newfound wealth.
