Records show Sun Prairie murder victims family gave money to trial witness

– Dane County Sheriff’s records show the family of murder victim Jesse Faber of Sun Prairie deposited money into the account of a trial witness within an hour of a jury convicting 61-year old Daniel Lieske of the killing.

The records show an ATM deposit into the jail-account of inmate-witness Emmanuel Harris was made by “FABER FAMILY” on Jan. 16. Sheriff’s officials have yet to specify what individual made the deposit. Lieske, of Marshall, was found guilty of first degree intentional homicide on that date.

During trial, Harris testified cell-mate Lieske told him he made up a self defense claim. Lieske fatally shot the 21-year old Faber after breaking up a next-door party, and then hid Faber’s body in a storage unit.
