Bucks respond to complaints from people who believe drinks were drugged

MILWAUKEE (WISN) — A handful of people have come forward to say something they drank at a Milwaukee Bucks party in the Deer District made them black out.

The people who say they were affected had bought Moscow Mules from the Absolut Vodka tent outside Fiserv Forum.

The Bucks on Sunday shared a statement on the claims with WISN 12 News:

“Our initial investigation has not revealed any foreign substance added to the Moscow Mule beverage batch. Additionally, out of an abundance of caution we are proactively engaging an independent accredited laboratory to ensure the accuracy of our initial investigatory findings and have sent a sample to the Milwaukee Police Department.

“Until the investigation is complete, we have removed all prebatched cocktails from our menus and are conducting additional trainings to reinforce safe alcohol service for all employees.”

Ali Diaz is one of the people who think their drinks were drugged. Diaz said sheremembers having two drinks Wednesday night. Diaz got home safely after wandering the city, blacked out for a couple of hours.
