A brief power outage is scheduled for several city agencies in Monona on Monday. The Monona Police Department said the power will be shut off for 30 to 60 minutes starting at 10:30 a.m. Phone and email service will be down at this time for places like the police dispatch center, fire department, city hall, library, and several other locations. Police say anyone with an emergency should still call 911. The power is being shut off for the installation of a new battery backup power supply.
