Langdon Street attacker of UW student pleads guilty in plea deal

The man charged in connection with a brutal attack of a woman Feb. 3 on Langdon Street agreed plead guilty Monday to three felony crimes as the result of a plea agreement: two counts of reckless endangering safety and substantial battery.

Jerome Winslow, 22, was arrested Feb. 6 after an extensive search by police of downtown surveillance cameras.

He was originally charged with five felonies. The plea agreement allows Dane County Judge Susan Crawford to consider dismissed charges of attempted sexual assault and false imprisonment when she sentences Winslow.
