Police: Shooting after Shake the Lake fireworks not a random act

Madison Police say a shooting Saturday night on John Nolan Drive under Monona Terrace after the Shake the Lake fireworks was the result of a disturbance among a group of people.

Investigators say it was not a random act.

Witnesses say several shots were fired.

One of the people in the group was wounded. The wounded person is expected to recover.

A police officer was injured while working the scene.
