MADISON (WKOW) — The sound of gunshots rang out in Madison Sunday evening, according to the Madison Police Department.
Shots were heard at about 6:50 p.m. in the 2300 block of Allied Drive. Multiple people called in and reported the incident and said vehicles sped away from the area.
Officers arrived soon after and located a number of shell casings.
The investigation is ongoing.
