Teen faces attempted first-degree intentional homicide charge

A Madison teen faces an attempted first-degree intentional homicide charge connected to an incident July 20 that ended with a stolen car crashing into a Madison police squad car following a chase.

The 16-year-old, who police have not yet identified, faces charges of attempted first-degree intentional homicide, armed robbery, substantial battery, resisting, operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent and possession with intent to deliver marijuana.

A second teen, Kevin L. Canady, 17, Madison faces charges of operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent.
