Madison man connected to WORT shooting charged in separate armed robbery

The U.S. Attorney’s Office has charged a Madison man connected to the WORT shooting last August with an armed robbery of an O’Reilly Auto Parts.

The U.S. Attorney said in a press release Wednesday that Jeremiah Edwards, 33, Madison is charged with armed robbery, brandishing a firearm, being a felon in possession of a firearm, possessing marijuana with intent to distribute, and possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.

Edwards was booking into the Dane County jail April 22 on a federal hold, according to jail records.
