MADISON (WKOW) — Family members of the victim in Madison’s first homicide of 2019 are looking for support.
Amanda Woods, 30, of Madison was killed early Friday morning on Darbo Dr. near N Marquette St. Police have arrested Lew Jefferson, 58, of Chicago in her murder.
Her sister, Lia Woods, started aGo Fund Mepage asking for help covering costs associated with her death including funeral expenses and providing for her daughter.
“It’s hard to comprehend all of this, and it’s even harder to prepare for what comes after,” Lia Woods, Amanda Woods’ sister.
The family’s goal is $5000.
