The Fitchburg Police Department is ramping up its investigation into a teenager’s murder.
17-year-old Shay Watson was shot and killed in his Lyman Lane home Aug. 25.
A multi-jurisdictional team of investigators has been actively pursuing leads and tips resulting from available evidence and information shared by community members, but no arrests have been made. Police do not believe the homicide was a random act.
