Watertown police seeking vandals who spray painted a heart on a truck

WATERTOWN (WKOW) — Watertown police are asked for the public’s help Thursday in solving a string of vandalisms in the city.

“The Watertown Police Department is asking for your help with identifying the subjects in the attached video,” the department said in a Facebook post.

The video shows a trio of people walking past a truck when one bends down next to the driver’s side door and pulls out a can of spray paint and draws a heart on the side of the truck before running off after the other two.

Police asked anyone living around twelve different blocks to check their security camera footage from the nights of Oct. 7 and 8 to see if they caught anything of interest.

Authorities said the investigation is still active. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Watertown Police Department at (920) 261-6660 or report it anonymously by texting “WTTN” along with a tip to Tip411 (847411). Reference Watertown PD case 2019-2145.
