Governor Wants To Raise State Employee Minimum Wage

(Madison, WI 24/7 News) -- Governor Tony Evers is trying to raise the minimum wage for state employees to 15-dollars per hour. His administration released it's 2019 to 2021 state employee compensation plan yesterday, which shows a 15-dollar minimum and a two-percent raise for all state employees starting in next June. The plan will need to be approved by the Joint Committee on Employee Relation before it can go into effect.
