Authorities named the person killed in a Beloit shooting Saturday.
34-year-old Dwan A. Buchanan was found dead around 4 a.m., according to a Facebook post by the Beloit Police Department.
Police said they received “many leads” via Greater Beloit Area Crime Stoppers. “We are actively investigating this and pursuing several leads as part of the comprehensive investigation.”
Officers also offered condolences to Buchanan’s family. “We extend our condolences to his family and loved ones.”
