Gov Says No Tax Credits For Foxconn

Governor Tony Evers says Foxconn's new plant doesn't qualify for tax credits. In 2017, the state promised to give the Taiwanese electronics manufacturer billions of dollars in tax incentives after it promised to build a manufacturing facility in that state that would eventually employ over 13-thousand people. Foxconn has since downsized that plan and Evers' office released letters yesterday telling the company that in no longer qualifies for the incentives.
